Soft Tissue Massage

 162_edited.jpg

Soft tissue massage is a therapeutic technique that involves the manipulation of the body's soft tissues, such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia, to promote relaxation, reduce muscle tension, and improve overall well-being. It is a hands-on approach that uses various manual techniques to address specific areas of the body.

During a soft tissue massage session, a trained professional applies pressure, kneading, and rubbing techniques to the soft tissues using their hands, fingers, thumbs, and sometimes elbows or forearms. The therapist may also use massage oils, lotions, or creams to reduce friction and facilitate smooth movements over the skin.
